Congratulations to Patrick Nolan and Jacob Dado who will be wrestling each other for fifth place in the IHSA State Wrestling finals at 138lbs! Nolan and Dado were two of the best ever to wear a Pioneer football uniform. Both players played integral parts on the legendary Pioneer team that won 39 straight games and back to back undefeated championships.

Flag Cheer, LW, JV and Varsity all took home a 1st Place Trophy tonight. SLW advances to Day 2 and took 3rd. We are SO proud of all our cheer teams!!!

Thank you to our 2018 Pioneer Families on a great year end banquet as well as we say farewell to our President John Stefanos and Athletic Director Mark Mikesell. Thank you for so many years of leadership, volunteering and guiding our program to achive our goals in football and cheerleading. Pioneer Alumni returned for this special event to say farewell.  It was great to have them all there.

Congratulations to our Pioneers National Youth Football 13U Champions! The team outscored their opponents 74-0 to defend thier championship from last year!

Jadon Thompson former Pioneer and Marist sophomore  starting on Varsity for the undefeated RedHawks has been selected to the 2018 National Combine by the US Army All-American Bowl selection committee! Congratulations!

Ryan Welch was chosen as The Orland Park Prairie’s Standout Student because of his academic accomplishments.

Former Chicago Bear and current University of Illinois head coach Lovie Smith and his staff stop by to visit former Orland Park Pioneer and current Marist Redhawk linebacker Micah Awodiran. Also pictured are Micah's parents and Marist head football Coach Pat Dunne. Micah has recently received his 28th Division 1 scholarship offer

We would like to congratulate former Orland Park Pioneer and current starting right tackle of the AFC Champion Denver Broncos #79 Michael Schofield on his trip to Super Bowl 50. We wish Michael the best of luck as he prepares for the big game. Michael graduated from Sandburg High School and played for the Michigan Wolverines before being drafted in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
